Terror in Pakistan

On December 16, 2014 terrorists attacked a school in Peshwar, Pakistan leaving 148 people killled. 132 of them being students who attended school at Army Public School. According to the Imam at the Masjid I go for worship, the students were in the middle of taking their final exams for the end of the semester. This is certainly a devastating news for me to hear as a student like the Pakistani kids that were killed. Schools are suppose to be one of the safest places for us and perhaps where we pretty much determine how our future are going to be. These students had a lot to look forward to. They would've been the politicians, doctors and engineers that the country so desperately needs. They were the change and perhaps the next generation of peacemakers. But no, they lost their life to selfish people who thought that these children had nothing to live for or didn't need to be educated.

These terrorists commit these heinious crimes all in the name of Allah. Clearly this shows how much they lack in the understanding of the Quran. Allah condemns the killing of a human being in the Quran.
  He states the following:

Al-Quran 6:151

..." take not life, which God hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus doth He
command you, that ye may learn wisdom."

Al-Quran 5:32

..." if any one slew a person- unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land- it
would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the
life of the whole people."






  This here is the clear answer in which shows that these people killled those innocent Pakistani people for no other reason but for hatred.The Quran strongly condemns the killing of any human being unless its for a justifiable reason such as for crime or justice. As the Quran says, killing any human being is like mourning the loss of humanity and saving the life of a human being is like saving the human race. In addition to one of the reasons why these people kill off others is because they also believe that some like girls shouldn't have the right to attain education. And obviously when you educate girls, you are bringing up a new generation of engineers, doctors, teachers, peacemakers, etc. While terrorists like the Taliban use the Quran as their source to why education is not needed it actually defends encourages us to seek knowledge. In fact it is a must and a priority for us to attain a good education.
   The Quran states the following:

Al- Quran

" The beautiful dress does not reflect beauty. The beauty is the beauty of knowledge and morals."

Al- Quran 2:151

"Likewise, we have sent you (our) Messenger from amongst yourselves who recites to you our revelations and purifies and sanctifies (your hearts and ill- commanding selves) and teaches you the Book and inculcates in you logic and wisdom and enlightens you which you did not know."

Al- Quran 1:175

"Acquire knowledge even if you may have to go to China for it."

Al- Quran 39:9

"Say: Can those who have knowledge and those who do not be alike? So only the wise do 
     receive the admonition."

From this you can see that no religion accepts or tolerates with violence. You can also see
  that Islam does not acknowledge violence. Also, these so called martyrs who think that they are 
killing people for a good cause are really not. They are not even considered Muslims. Islam doesn't allow terrorism or suicide. So the suicide bombers you hear about on the news often are actually committing one of the major sins in Islam. The religion says that only God has the power to take away 
  life and give life. No one should take their own life. Its understandable in cases like the mental ill some times who can't control themselves.

    In conclusion, I pray for the Pakistani families who are suffering a great loss because of the 
attack and I pray for the better of the country of Pakistan in whole
           as it has been in great turmoil and tragedies as well as destruction.

Black Boxes Reportedly Found In The Disappearance Of AirAsia Flight 8501

Jakarta, Singapore- Search Officials believe they have found the crucial black boxes of AirAsia jet was found today in the Java Sea stuck under debris from the plane's fuselage. Officials say it will be retrieved on Monday as the breakthrough will hopefully reveal what caused the jet's fatal crash.   Indonesia's Directorate General of Marine Transport confirmed that the black box of the AirAsia Flight QZ8501 has been found. The breakthrough comes exactly two weeks after the flight from Surabaya to Singapore went down with 162 on board.   Coordinator of the Directorate General of Marine Transport Tonny Budiono said navy divers from Indonesia navy ship KN Jadayat found the black box at a depth of 30 to 32 meters. The black box is currently wedged between pieces of wreckage making it difficult for divers to retrieve, and due to time constraints, retrieval will take place tomorrow morning, said Budiono.    The search crew will attempt to retrieve the black box by m

                                        The Attack On A French Newspaper Paris-- French officials have identified three suspects in the tragic shooting attack on a satirical newspaper that killed 12 people Wednesday. Four of the magazine's well-known cartoonists, including its editor, were among those killed, as well as two police officers. Authorities said, one of the officers was shot dead on a sidewalk outside the newspaper. President Francois Hollande, visiting the scene of France's deadliest such attack in more than half a century, called the assault on the weekly newspaper Charlie Hebdo "an act of exceptional barbarism."    Fears had been running high in France and elsewhere in Europe that jihadis returning from conflicts in Syria and Iraq would stage attacks at home. Two officials identified the suspects as French brothers Said and Cherif Kouachi, in their early thirties, and 18-year-old Hamyd Mourad, whose nationality is yet to be released.
